Madrid 2026

In questo periodo 3 docenti e 8 studenti appartenenti a tutte le specializzazioni del nostro istituto, sono stati ospiti dell’istituto di Madrid IIS Pradolongo in Spagna.

Nell’Istituto spagnolo il gruppo ha ricevuto un’accoglienza veramente calorosa, umana e molto professionale. Studenti e docenti hanno avuto modo di familiarizzare con la struttura ospitante e le differenti specializzazioni, con usi e costumi.

I docenti hanno avuto modo di conoscere, in varie riunioni e incontri con il corpo docente locale i progetti in atto nella scuola. Si è approfondito come l’istituto spagnolo affronti varie tematiche come l’abbandono scolastico, la mediazione tra pari, la sviluppo delle arti, l’orientamento e il prestito di libri tra gli altri. Si è potuto anche parlare di Didattica Orientativa, (Obiettivo 1 del nostro progetto) a cui i docenti spagnoli, viste le attività sostenute all’Avogadro, erano molto interessati. I docenti in job shadowing hanno seguito diverse lezioni sulla materia confrontandosi con i colleghi sulle prassi, difficoltà condivise e materiali.

Non ultimo, si è gettato le basi per future collaborazioni e scambi didattico culturali.

Gli allievi hanno fatto una esperienza full immersion, inseriti per età e indirizzo in analoghe classi della scuola spagnola per tutta la durata del soggiorno. L’orario ha visto lezioni di storia spagnola, matematica, francese e persino un laboratorio di cucina molecolare! Una opportunità per imparare in un modo diverso, confrontarsi e fare nuove amicizie.

Madrid ha accolto il gruppo con le sue bellezze più famose: la Plaza Mayor, il Museo del Prado, il Palazzo Reale, il museo Reina Sophia ma anche i viali brulicanti di vita madrilena. C’è stato tempo anche per una escursione alla vicinissima Toledo, antica capitale del Regno spagnolo.

Non sono mancati i momenti ludici, passati insieme ai compagni spagnoli e alle cene di gruppo.

Ringraziamo di cuore tutti i nostri colleghi spagnoli e in special modo Jose, Berta e Rosamaria, che si sono veramente prodigati affinché la nostra permanenza raggiungesse i massimi livelli possibili sotto tutti i punti di vista. Lo scambio continua a breve con la loro visita nel nostro Istituto.

Madrid 2026

During this period, three teachers and eight students from all the specialisations at our school were guests at the IIS Pradolongo school in Madrid, Spain.

At the Spanish school, the group received a truly warm, friendly and highly professional welcome. Students and teachers had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the host school and its various specialisations, as well as with local customs and traditions.

Through various meetings and discussions with the local teaching staff, the teachers were able to learn about the projects currently underway at the school. They explored in depth how the Spanish institute tackles various issues such as early school leaving, peer mediation, arts development, career guidance and book lending, amongst others. There was also an opportunity to discuss Career Guidance (Objective 1 of our project), in which the Spanish teachers showed great interest, given the activities carried out at Avogadro. The teachers on the job-shadowing programme attended several lessons on the subject, discussing practices, shared challenges and materials with their colleagues.

Last but not least, the foundations were laid for future collaborations and educational and cultural exchanges. The students enjoyed a fully immersive experience, placed in classes at the Spanish school according to their age and subject area for the entire duration of their stay. The timetable included lessons in Spanish history, maths, French and even a molecular cuisine workshop! It was an opportunity to learn in a different way, exchange ideas and make new friends.

Madrid welcomed the group with its most famous sights: the Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, the Reina Sofia Museum, as well as the bustling streets teeming with Madrid life. There was also time for a trip to nearby Toledo, the ancient capital of the Spanish Kingdom.

There was no shortage of fun moments, spent with Spanish classmates and at group dinners.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our Spanish colleagues, and especially to Jose, Berta and Rosamaria, who went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible in every respect. The exchange will continue shortly with their visit to our school
